Nelson Produce Farm grows revenue by 44%, running its whole season with Beyonk and AMG

Discover how Nelson Produce Farm brought passes, festivals, farm camps and private group bookings into one system with Beyonk, paired it with AMG's marketing expertise, and grew revenue 44% year on year and paid social returning over 269% of ad spend.

Background

Nelson Produce Farm is a multi-season agritourism destination in Valley, Nebraska, running a full calendar of events from the spring Tulip Festival through Strawberry Festival, Sunflower Festival, farm camps, farm to table evenings and private group visits. With a packed events calendar and a growing family audience, the team needed ticketing and marketing that could keep pace with the business across every season, not just the busiest weekend.

Nelson signed with Beyonk for ticketing in November 2025 ahead of their 2026 seasons and additionally works with AMG for website, paid media and marketing strategy.

The customer service with Beyonk has been excellent. The team is always available, ready to answer questions, and quick with hands-on solutions. Most companies just send you a link to a training. Beyonk gives you real, hands-on knowledge.

The challenge

Running that many events across a full year means a lot of moving parts: passes, single-day admission, add-ons, private group bookings, farm camps and one-off experiences all need to sell smoothly and report cleanly. Nelson needed a platform that could handle the complexity of a multi-event farm without adding admin, alongside a marketing partner who understood the agritourism calendar and could turn each seasonal event into a genuine sales moment.

Product sales added another layer. Nelson also sells beef and other farm products through Square, so the team needed ticketing that could sit comfortably alongside that, rather than fighting it.

How we helped

Bringing every event into one system

From the Tulip Festival to Farm Camp, Sunflower Festival add-ons to private group bookings, Nelson now runs its entire events calendar through one platform. That includes season passes, single-day admission and dozens of smaller experiences and add-ons, all reporting into the same place.

Clean reporting across a complex calendar

With that many ticket types running at once, reporting matters. Nelson can now see attendance rate by event across the calendar, from established festivals to newer additions still building their audience, giving the team a clear read on what's working and what needs attention.

A checkout guests get through fast

Guests complete a booking in an average of two minutes and 23 seconds, with cart abandonment at 53%. For a farm selling passes, single-day tickets and add-ons side by side, a fast, uncluttered checkout keeps guests moving from browsing to booked.

Guest feedback built in

Nelson's NPS sits at 67.5%, with an average visitor rating of 8.96 out of 10, giving the team ongoing visibility into how each event is landing with guests.

Customer service that feels like a real team

Nelson's experience with Beyonk’s support has been hands-on from the start. Rather than being pointed to a help doc or a training link, the team gets direct answers and real solutions from people who know the platform inside out. That responsiveness carries through to AMG too, with clear, exact costs and honest reporting on impact and areas for growth, so Nelson always knows where things stand.

How AMG helped

A stronger digital front door for Strawberry Festival

AMG built out Nelson's Strawberry Festival campaign around a refreshed website presence and seasonal creative, countdown assets and mobile-optimised event pages. Site sessions during the 2026 Strawberry Festival increased by 79% on the prior season, with unique visitors up 69%.

Paid social that turned reach into bookings

Meta campaigns across Facebook and Instagram lifted page reach by 61.2% for the season. Those campaigns returned over 269% of ad spend back in booking value, meaning every dollar spent on paid social generated close to three dollars in bookings.

Email and community engagement

Email campaigns grew Nelson's contact list steadily across the run-up to and during the festival window, keeping the audience warm ahead of peak season. Nelson's Facebook page holds a 98% recommended rating, and Google reviews rose to a 4.79 out of 5 rating for the 2026 season, up from an all-time average of 4.6, with the strongest common feedback theme being the family-friendly experience.

Fresh seasonal creative

New creative assets across Facebook, Instagram and the website leaned into strawberry season with consistent branding: "a short drive from Omaha," u-pick strawberries, farm attractions and photo ops, giving Nelson a cohesive look across every touchpoint of the campaign.

The results

Since switching to Beyonk, year to date revenue for Nelson has increased by 44% on the previous year, driven by smoother bookings and fewer drop-offs at checkout. That growth has come while running a fuller calendar than ever, across passes, single-day tickets, farm camps and add-ons, without adding admin to keep it all moving.

Attendance has followed the same pattern across the season, with strong follow-through from booking to visit at flagship events like the Tulip Festival, and newer additions steadily building their own audience.

For the Strawberry Festival specifically, AMG's ad campaign helped drive online revenue up 19% year on year, on essentially flat ad spend, meaning every marketing dollar worked harder than the year before. That sat alongside a 79% rise in site sessions and a 69% increase in unique visitors during the festival window, as well as paid social campaigns that returned over 269% of ad spend in booking value, close to three dollars back for every dollar spent.

Guest experience metrics point the same way. Nelson's NPS sits at 67.5%, with an average visitor rating of 8.96 out of 10 and Google reviews up to 4.79 out of 5 for the season. Checkout takes guests under two and a half minutes on average, so the booking experience is keeping pace with the guest experience on the ground.
