A fantastic introduction to canoeing for those who have never been in a canoe before along the Cromford Canal nr Matlock Bath.
Suitable for family and friends. All under 18s need to be with a parent -lower age limit 5yrs.
Its the ideal way to start.
A short journey on a calm canal to gain confidence with a few skills taught to keep you straight and in control with your partner.
Challenges and games can be set for those that require further challenge along the way.
Normally lots of wildlife to spot along the way.
A third seat in the canoe is suitable for children 10yr old and below.
Aimed as being a dry session apart from splashing or rain.
Alternative dates available for groups of 4. Why not try our underground lead mine adventure or abseiling as well??

Details
Day 1
Meet and greet followed by kitting up with buoyancy aids.
A full briefing on land of how to get control of the canoe followed by a short practice on the water.
Then its off down the canal for our journey. We keep as a group stopping along the way to play a few games for those that wish to take part.
