Expedition Navigation (Finding your way)

An introductory course in reading and interpreting maps, following routes and relocating yourself in wild country. Learn the basic skills of map reading and route finding on this 1 day interactive course. ItineraryFollowing Introductions we will start the day by discussion the 5 Steps to Navigation & looking at the Maps we will be using during the day.
The rest of the day will involve building participants skills and knowledge whilst navigating across Dartmoor.
With expert and professional instruction, participant can expect high quality tuition and coaching, ensuring that by the time they arrive back at the end of the day they feel confident to use map and compass skills to navigate on their own expeditions.
