Deva Roman Discovery Centre welcomes school and youth groups and strongly believes in the importance of educating students about Roman Chester and the role it played in the larger world.
Deva Roman Discovery Centre is proud to offer fully immersive and interactive experiences to school groups of all ages. 

Below is the standard format of our tour however, we may be able to accommodate special requests. A standard school visit to Deva Roman Discovery Centre will take 3 hours including lunch. This will include and indoor tour of the centre and a outdoor walking tour.

During the indoor tour, the children will be transported back to the time of the Romans, where they will travel across the sea to the North of Brittania, to the Roman Fortress of Deva! 

During the outdoor tour, your class will be enlisted into the Roman Army, where they will meet a veteran of the legion who will put them through their paces and have them working together as a team to become the finest soldiers the world has ever seen!
