Four Season Bushcraft Club for 5-12 Year Olds Biggar Little Quarry

Our Four Seasons Bush Craft Club for children aged 5-12 years of age will be continuing after the Summer with 3 dates before Christmas.   The sessions will follow on from the Summer Scheme running from 10.30-2.30pm and will be a mixture of games, crafts, bush craft skills and tool based work.  Please send your child with suitable clothing, footwear, waterproofs and a packed lunch.  The sessions will be as follows: Saturday 3rd September Autumn Session: During this session we'll use some of the elder that we have on site for making toys, jewelry, whistles and harvesting local apples for cooking on the fire.  We'll also have games, climbing, swings, hammock and lots more woodland fun lined up. Sat 29th Oct: Halloween Special!  Join us for a fun Halloween special in the woods where we'll be making some broomsticks, whittling our own magic wands and having lots of fun making chocolate dipped apples over the fire.   All sessions will run from Biggar Little Quarry up Langlees Road.  There is no car parking space up this road and can be a tight squeeze for cars and farm vehicles so we ask that all cars are parked down on the bottom road and the short 5 minute walk is taken for drop off and collection, thank you.   Inclusions What's Included 🍴 Food - A fire cooked snack is provided at the end of the session. 🥤 Drink - Water is provided for children to fill their water bottles 🧰 Equipment   What you'll need 🧤 Warm Clothing - Please provide warm clothing and suitable footwear ☂️ Waterproofs - Please pack waterproofs
