Highlights
This is one of our Special Destination visits; located in Surrey, Thursley Common is a Haven of Wildlife, with a diverse mix to see and hear. One of the reasons this is dear to us here at GG Wildlife Walks is due to it being a great habitat for Dragonflies.... and hence, Hobbies! They have started their return from Africa and been spotted back at Thursley.
Another reason is the chance to see Colin the famous Cuckoo if we are lucky, who has been returning to the site for many years, and is quite famous across Social Media.
Celebrities like Colin aside, there are also a really nice array of other birdlife to see - from Curlew to, Stonechat, Redstart, Reed Bunting, Dartford Warbler, Tree Pipit.... to many other birds and Lizards and Dragonflies etc.
The booking confirmation will advise where to meet to start the walk.
