Highlights
This rock climbing package is suitable for those who have a little bit of climbing experience. Maybe you used to climb previously, or are are a regular indoor climber. Either way, if you want something a bit beyond our beginner's sessions, and want to try some harder routes, or learn more about ropework and anchor building, then this course is for you. These sessions are run in smaller groups, and are generally ran at more challenging and impressive venues, giving you the chance to climb classic Cornish lines and push your climbing forward. These courses are tailored towards you, and your instructor will determine how to structure the day so it's not just an awesome day of climbing, but also of maximum benefit in terms of learning.
This is a full day activity, so bring lunch, something to drink and clothes appropriate for the unpredictable Cornish weather. All equipment is provided and the minimum age is 10 years old.
Itinerary
You will you climbing instructor at the car park. After selecting climbing shoes, and gathering the other equipment, you will walk along the southwest coast path to reach the crag. We will spend the day getting as many routes in as possible, as well as trying some abseiling too. You will have the opportunity to learn the necessary skills to safeguard your friends and family, and you can then use these skills to do more climbing in the future, whether it's inside at your local wall, or whether you're interested in becoming a regular outdoor climber. However, if you're just looking to climb as much as possible, without worrying about which knots to tie, no problem - the choice is yours!
Enjoy climbing up the rock faces as you take in the gorgeous views from your cliff-top location. As well as climbing as much as you like, there'll also be plenty of opportunity to relax, take photos, and enjoy a picnic in between routes, as well.
