Tomintoul Distillery Tour
Highlights
Enjoy a guided behind the scenes tour of Tomintoul Distillery, located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park and see how our dedicated team use traditional distilling techniques that stretch back hundreds of years, to handcraft our award-winning single malt scotch whisky. The tour will be followed by a tasting of three Tomintoul single malts. The experience lasts approximately 90 minutes.
Standard Tours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays at 10:00, 12:30 and 15:00. From the 10th of May, we'll be offering Saturday tours at 10:00, 12:30 and 15:00 and Sunday tours at 12:00 and 14:30.
Cost of the Standard Tour is £20 per person, which will be paid in advance of your arrival.
Warehouse Only Tours (no access to production area):
Please note that due to our annual summer maintenance programme, we have had to adapt our Standard Tours between 25th June until 31st July and as a result there is no public access to our production area during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
There are 10 spaces available on each tour and each participant must be aged 15 years or older. 2025 tours will run from 31st March 2025 to 2nd November 2025.
In addition to tours, our Distillery shop is also open Monday - Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00 and Sunday from 12:00 to 16:00.

For one weekend only, enjoy a guided behind the scenes tour of Tomintoul Distillery, located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park and see how our dedicated team use traditional distilling techniques that stretch back hundreds of years, to handcraft our award-winning single malt scotch whisky. Enjoy a dram in one of our bonded warehouses, followed by a tutored tasting of three specially selected aged Tomintoul Single Malts. The experience lasts approximately 120 minutes.

Monday 5th May at 10:00, 12:30, 15:00
Cost of the extended tour is £30 per person, which will be paid in advance of your arrival.

Cancellations
Custom Policy
If you wish to cancel your tour, we ask that you please give us 48 hours’ notice. Full refunds will be given for cancellations made up to 48 hours before your tour start time.
Tours cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be offered the opportunity to reschedule (subject to availability) however no refund will be given. To cancel your tour or if you wish to reschedule your booking, please contact tomintoulsocial@angusdundee.co.uk.
