Highlights

Kinder Scout summit, the dramatic views over the western edges and the famous Downfall waterfall (which in the right conditions becomes an upward waterfall). With the possibility of long icicles and an 'other planet' world of frozen grasses in winter light. All in one challenging but achievable day of adventure. A hilly trek at steady pace over 16km (10 miles).Guided in small groups by experienced local Hayfield Mountain Leader. Superb picturesque scenery with plenty of opportunities to pause for photographs. This is also a picnic walk – you bring your favourite sandwiches, we’ll bring the hot drinks and snacks. Escape the Christmas shopping and enjoy a grand day out in the hills instead.
