Devon at War guided tour

Not to be celebrated but never forgotten. Devon became known as “the most active military county in the war”. Step back in time and uncover its unrivalled links with WWII, abandoned bunkers, tragic tales and heroic stories will always be an integral part of Devon's’ history. Learn about one mans 20 year mission to ensure the lives of 100’s of American soldiers who died on Devon beaches will always be remembered. Enjoy both a humbling but also inspirational tour.

What you'll need
🧤 Warm Clothing - Always be prepared for the sun to drop behind the clouds, the temperature can quickly drop 5 degrees on the coast
☂️ Waterproofs - Expect rain, waterproof trousers and jacket are recommended, if you don'y have to use them so much the better
📋 Other - A decent pair of walking boots or shoes are recommended as we will be departing the vehicle a number of times to explore on foot
