Cancellation by you If you need to cancel your activity we must be notified in writing by the person who made the booking. Any cancellation by you will be subject to the following schedule
More than 4 weeks until activity - Alternate date will be offered or full refund less 25% of the total cost of your activity or course
Less than 4 weeks until activity - No refund will be given
If you have paid a deposit, this is non refundable at any point
Voluntarily withdrawing from a course or activity once it has started, including for medical reasons - No refund will be given
If we have to remove you from a course or activity or do not allow you to commence same - No refund will be given
Cancellation by us: Whilst we make every effort to ensure our activities and courses run as advertised, sometimes situations beyond our control result in us having to move things around a bit. Examples of this are weather conditions making the activity unsafe beyond acceptable risk or client numbers failing to reach the minimum level required to run the activity.
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel an activity or course, you will be offered the following options:
Transfer of your booking to an alternate date that is mutually convenient.
A full refund of the cost of the activity or course
In the event that we do have to cancel an activity or course, Lodestar Adventure accept no liability or responsibility for other costs you may incur through cancellation such as travel and accommodation charges and strongly advise that you take out appropriate travel insurance to cover any risk
