The Lake District is known for being the home of Rock Climbing, so why not try your hand at this extreme sport!
Conquer a fear and get up close and personal with some of the incredible local landscape all whilst under the watchful eye of our qualified Instructors!
We use local crags which are best suited to beginners and intermediates and on the rare occasion that it rains, we have access to the Keswick Indoor Climbing Wall. What to Expect?
Your Rock Climbing Session would start at Keswick Climbing Wall or Newlands Adventure Centre depending on the crag we choose to take you too. You will meet your Instructor and kitted up with all our safety equipment. When everyone is ready we will be heading off to the crag in one of our Vans!
Once arrived your Instructor will go set up the Rock Climbs, then once ready, they will give you a detailed lesson on how to keep each other safe on the rock face. You will be taught the basic rope work skills to allow you to safely tie in and belay a partner; a wonderful exercise in mutual trust. Plus, you will also be given advice on how you can reach the top of the crag! What else do I need to know?
Sessions run at 9.30am and at 1.30pm daily and cost £45pp for each session. This activity is very Weather Dependent. We cannot run the session if the Crag is still wet the day of your session for safety reason. If we cannot run the session on the day of your booking, we will either:
