Our kayak tours start with the one-hour guided mini tour. Suitable for everyone regardless of age or experience. Great for beginners and families with younger children. We have discovered through years of experience that for most young children one hour on the water is enough for them. Your kayaking adventure will begin at our shop where you will be introduced to your guide. After a short safety brief you will be fitted with your buoyancy aid and walk to the beach - which is 80 metres from our shop - where your kayaks will be waiting at the waters edge. For this experience we use double kayaks. If you would prefer to have a single kayak, please let us know. We can only offer single kayaks to children over the age of 13. 

You will paddle out along the coastline heading to Mermaid Cove and onto Pirate Bay. We will point out all the points of interest along the way and bring you safely back to Combe Martin. Surfside tour guides are all experienced British Canoeing Qualified Paddlesport Leaders and full-time kayak guides. We are experienced at guiding families on the water, ensuring your safety and enjoyment.

All kayaks have a weight limit, our sit-on-top single and double kayaks have a weight limit of 16 stone (101 kg) per person.

PRICES HELD! We value your custom and want to make experiences on the water as cost-effective as possible. With this in mind, we are not increasing our prices for 2024, they will remain the same as our 2022 prices per person. The tour is a full hour on the water.
Please note: in order to run this experience, we require a minimum of 4 people to be booked on. In the event we do not have 4 or more people, we will contact you to arrange another date or refund the booking.
