Supermoon rising over Kinder and the ultimate celebration of sundown. Savouring views from Peak District's highest mountain, while enjoying hot chocolate, coffee, cookies and cheesecake. Relatively rare, there are only a couple of supermoons in each calendar year. Together we enjoy the peace and tranquility of this special lunar event. At a steady pace we ascend the plateau, journeying past the atmospheric, mysterious shapes of gritstone tors. As the moon rises, you'll settle down in a comfortable spot while we serve refreshments. We then have a little more time for exploring before descending back to Hayfield.
NOTES - We fully support the
Peak District PSPO in wildfire prevention. Hence all our hot drinks on the hill are provided from flasks.
