Highlights
This beautiful 3 mile circular Figure of Eight route includes East & West Hagbourne and the Edge of Upton.
It really is a wonderful route, which changes dramatically with the seasons as to the wildlife and plant life we see along the way. The Autumn / Winter months are breath taking, as we have large flocks of redwing and fieldfare in the fields here. In Spring, we have the return of the Wheatear, and the songs of the Chiff Chaff. Buzzards, Kites and Kestrels are often seen , and if we are lucky, plenty of deer.
The highlight of the route is the Raised pathway section where you walk almost at tree top height, giving you stunning views of the area. Have your cameras at the ready!
