Highlights
Scotland has long been an infamous white water kayaking destination. As a concoction of culture, history and rich landscapes, Scotland provides the perfect secluded retreat and an extensive outdoor playground for anybody seeking a thrill. For kayakers, the urge to return is always irresistible.
Sought out and home to a number of annual pilgrimages by paddlesport groups, our Epic Kayaking Scotland expedition has been designed by professional paddlers to give you an absolute Scottish experience, taking you deep into the highlands and introducing you to Scotland's most famous rivers and their hidden gems.
We pride ourselves on proving a truly immersive and cultural experience for those who join us on our expeditions. We provide all coaches, accommodation and meals including venue and river shuttles so that after a hard day on the river you can relax, unwind and take in the breath-taking views leaving all the arrangements to us.
Day 1
Arriving in Scotland, we will meet, greet and have dinner. This also provides a great opportunity for everybody to initially get to know each other, discuss plans for the coming week and enjoy some great food. From here the night is yours, we choose your accommodation very carefully so that it provides the facilities to unwind, socialise, enjoy the views and get a comfortable night's sleep. Our lead coach and expedition leader will use this evening as an opportunity to find out a bit more about your paddling history and what you'd like to get out of the week.
Day 2
The second day is all about suiting up and getting out there for a day's white water kayaking. Our experienced coaches will observe you and analyse your paddling and performance on the river, and afterwards discuss your individual needs and goals for your time with us, whilst providing the opportunity to experience as many of Scotland's rivers as possible.
Day 3
From here on the plan will vary depending on the group, individuals and water conditions. In co-operation with the expeditions coaches and guides, you’ll learn to sharpen up your strokes, nail lines and truly get an appreciation for Scotland’s rivers. All logistics are covered (excluding transport from the venue and rivers) and will support your decisions, leaving you to paddle, learn, enjoy your surroundings and relax. Each morning fresh before a day of paddling, our coaches will be available to provide feedback workshops, both on an individual and group basis, with photos and video playback and notes taken throughout the previous day to enhance your learning.
Day 4
More paddling, exploring rivers, developing skills and enjoying the stunning surroundings.
