Canoe Adventure Ripon

A fun-filled day paddling the rapids of the River Ure from Ripon, down past the racecourse to the canal - before paddling up the canal to our finish.  This trip will have an exciting mix of 3 sections of rapids and flat water where we will be able to take in the beautiful scenery and relax. Depending on how adventurous we're all feeling we can play around in the rapids or take a more laid-back journey where we glide down the river. We'll be travelling in tandem open canoes, with space for your kit to come along with us. We'll also provide dry-bags for your valuables. After this adventure, you'll have had a great day out, explored the river, picked up some canoeing skills and feel refreshed and ready for your next adventure!ItineraryMeet at 10am, launch on to the river and spend the morning playing in the rapids. We'll stop for lunch down the river at the canal junction. You'll need to bring your own lunch (don't worry - we'll provide drybags to keep it dry). We'll finish around 3.30pm after a good day out on the river!

What's Included
🚆 Transportation - We will provide transport from the end of the trip, back to your cars at the top. Commonly known as a "shuttle" To keep costs low, we expect the whole group to work together to collect the vehicles left at the top of the trip, at the end of the day
🧰 Equipment - windproof jackets, buoyancy aids and helmets are provided
