Ever fancied bouldering outdoors? Come with us on a 4-day trip to Fontainebleau, the world's most famous bouldering destination. You will get some expert coaching and guidance - not to mention beautiful surroundings, a friendly group, and some excellent French pastries. Find out why so many people are getting hooked on outdoor climbing!Day 1From the pick-up point we will drive 45 minutes to our accommodation to drop belongings. There will be time for picking up some food provisions from the local supermarket, before we head out to our first bouldering crag for the afternoon, taking advantage of the long summer evenings. On our first day we will cover the technique of spotting correctly and using the bouldering mats effectively, with the aim of transitioning smoothly between indoor and outdoor climbing. Expect your first top out on a real boulder to be memorable!Day 2Once you start to gain confidence on the rock, we will explore and push our bouldering technique, looking to find the most effective way to get leverage from the crimps, slopers, jugs and footholds that the boulders provide. We will discuss our bouldering goals on the morning of the second day, whether that is to improve your grade or simply to enjoy the bouldering for what it is. Our expert guides will show us the crags that are most suitable for the weather conditions on each day. We will take plenty of breaks and provide opportunities to buy food, snacks and enjoy the local surroundings.Day 3Same as Day 3Day 4There will be one final bouldering session before we depart Fontainebleau and say our farewells either at Crétail Pompadour station or at Paris Orly airport.
