Our two-day mountaineering course gives us the opportunity to look at what type of skills & techniques we need for looking after yourself and your climbing partner with the techniques to get you moving with confidence over different types of terrain. We're here give you the skills, knowledge and tools to be able to make safe decisions in the mountains from the forecasts, terrain & how to safely climb your routes with the knowledge gained over the two days.

Day 1
Cairngorms.
Day one will we concentrate on being able to move around on steeper slopes using good footwork, use of the ice axe, anchor selection, construction and how we tie in and basic belay techniques.
Day 2
Cairngorms.
Day two will be looking at putting our techniques from day one into context, potentially climbing a grade 1 gully; we will use the techniques from day one and build upon this during the ascent.
