Covid Updates
Do NOT attend your session if you have any covid related symptoms, please inform us as soon as possible. Please arrive in a timely fashion for sessions, in order to be kitted up and ready to go at your lesson start time, we would recommend 10 minutes prior to your lesson time. We have carefully planned activities so as to best protect customers and our team. On arrival please register for your session at the beach hut on the beach, NOT in the beach shop Social distancing must be followed at all times.
A maximum of 3 people and 2 families will be booked onto sailing tasters.
A perfect way to sample sailing, feel the wind in your hair and explore St. Austell Bay. Your lesson can be tailored to suit your needs and what you want to get out of the session.
Lasting 1.5 hours, this taster session is perfect for all the family. You'll be sailing in our of our Pico single handed sailing boats. The instructor will be in a seperate safety boat.

Itinerary

You'll be kitted up and then get out on the water, where you'll be introduced to the basics of sailing. You'll have the opportunity to gain confidence on the water and try sailing for yourself, under the guidance of an instructor.

Cancellations

Custom Policy

By Polkerris Beach: We may cancel or postpone activities at any stage in the event of bad weather, equipment failure or other factors beyond our control. In this event, we will offer alternative session dates or a full refund where applicable. By Customers: In the event of cancellation, notice must be received 7 days prior to session/course date. A cancellation fee of £20 will be charged. There will be no refund for cancellations within 7 days of the session date or if you do not arrive for the session/course. If you have to postpone your booking, we will try and arrange an alternative date but reserve the right to charge a late notice fee.
