Highlights

Enjoy a 2 days Rock Climbing holiday in the Peak District, one of the finest climbing sites in the world. It’s all about gritstone crags (like Burbage, Forgatt and the world-famous Stanage Edge) which makes for some great climbs due to its frictional properties. It is known as the mecca for British climbing and something every climber should experience.

Day 1

We usually meet in a café and enjoy breakfast. Introductions are made and our climbing instructors can discuss your climbing experience and identify the best climbing location to suit your needs. Throughout the course your climbing instructors will set up all the ropes, leaving you to concentrate fully on your climbing. At the rocks, we’ll go at your pace. In the evening after a quick relax we often get together in the local pub for a spot of dinner and a drink.

Day 2

Our climbing instructors will take you to a different outcrop of rocks to add variety to your climbing experience. Having seen you climb the day before, our climbing instructors will be able to set personal goals and coach you on your climbing technique and style. Depending on ability our instructors may also set up an abseil for those that wish. At the end of the climbing holiday our instructors can offer advice regarding your own personal progression in the sport of rock climbing.

Other Continental breakfast and packed lunch included on both days. In the evening we tend to frequent the local pub for a meal and a pint (please note this is not included in the cost).

Custom Policy

Cancellations by The Client
If The Client cancels their place on The Event within 30 days prior to the first day of The Event, The Event fees will be forfeit to The Hatt Ltd. If The Client cancels their place on The Event outside of 30 days prior to the first day of The Event then 50% of The Event fees will be forfeit to The Hatt Ltd.
Participant Substitutes
We are happy for The Participant to give their place on The Event to a friend (The Substitute). In order to make this change, we must receive written confirmation of The Substitute no later than 7 days prior to the start of the course. The Substitute’s place will not be confirmed until you have received written confirmation from The Hatt Ltd. and The Substitute must conform to the Terms and Conditions of this booking along with any restrictions for The Event.
Cancellations by The Hatt Ltd.
The Hatt Ltd. reserves the right to cancel or alter The Event. If The Event is cancelled (through no fault of The Client) an alternative date will be offered to The Client or a full refund will be given. Please note that refunds are not available to Vouchers. If The Event cannot be pursued due to health and safety or environmental conditions on the day and no alternative can be found, no refund will be given. No liability for consequential loss is accepted by The Hatt Ltd.
