Our 'further' scrambling course looks at developing your skills and knowledge to let you progress onto more exciting and committing terrain. We will look at basic rope work to be able to look after us as a leader and to protect a second on grade 2-3 terrain. Learn core skills to keep you and your partner safe on scrambling terrain ✓ Coaching with movement to become more confident on scrambling terrain ✓ Route finding skills, through use of the guidebook and while on route ✓ Techniques on how to safe guard each other with the use of the rope ✓ How & when to construct belays, showing pros and cons of different methods

We will cover kit carried, route finding, decision making on the route.
We will also spend some time on rope work, belays how to set them up and organise them.
On day two we will put into action what we have learned from day one on another scramble with the use of a rope to safeguard each other in different types of terrain and how to abseil should we need to.
You’ll be working up a sweat. Bring along a touch of enthusiasm and a little determination
