Highlights
Visit our unique 15th century farmstead, home to one of the worlds finest collections of flown owls and hawks within Exmoor National Park. On your adventure you will fly a wide variety nine owls, hawks and a kestrel to your gloved hand, learn about their natural behaviour in the wild, how they would catch their prey, and their interdependence on other species and their environment for their survival. The birds will range in size and challenge from small owls to medium and large owls, and the majestic speed of the hawks! All set in the magnificent setting of Exmoor surrounded by woods, hills and the sea, close to Porlock, Minehead and the Southwest Coast Path. Your experience will finish with light refreshments of tea/coffee and cake or cream tea. You are also welcome to wander around the Centre and meet the horses and other animals. Suitable for interested children and families, of 8 years and above, seeking an all rounded challenge and fascination for birds of prey.
