Highlights
This is a 1.5-2hr session, and and early start as they are most active first thing!
Goring & Streatley is an incredible section of the River Thames, and we know we have several pairs of resident Kingfishers, who last year were very active with us to three clutches over the breeding season.
On this spotting session, we bring our binoculars (you can hire these if you don't have any), our patience, and ultimately prepare for the excitement of seeing these incredible birds. Sometimes it's as little as a few fly-bys, sometimes it's a full display with perching, fishing and calling. We are at the mercy of the wildlife!
However we will teach you lots of interesting facts during the experience, help you understand they key spots they can be seen, and most importantly, how to listen for them.
And why not check out our ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP before booking? By buying a Friends and Family Membership for example for £99 for the year, you get up to half price on up to 5 tickets per booking, two free group walk vouchers to use over the year... plus a host of other benefits! https://www.goringgapwildlifewalks.co.uk/Menu/Membership
