Highlights
Bring the kids and join The Lakes Mountaineer for your holiday activities. A full day of mountain activities when you will go abseiling and climbing in the morning, followed by a treasure hunt in the afternoon. Ideal for kids 7yrs+ old. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

We'll start with a rock climb and abseil session a few minutes walk from the car. After a lunch break, we'll go on a treasure hunt, map in hand and go adventuring (don't tell the kids they are learning to navigate!), returning to the start by 4pm (the day could be reversed if weather dictates).
However: walking, climbing, navigating, abseiling - the mix is up to you.

What's included
- Warm Clothing Bring more than you think you need!
- Waterproofs Top (always - it is also windproof) and trousers (if any rain possible)
- Food We'll return to your car for lunch, so you don't have to carry it, but bring snacks and drinks with you each half-day.

- Other Walking shoes or trainers will suffice - there will be limited time off good paths. Hand Gel and face masks.

Cancel more than 28 days before 1st day for a 100% refund; Cancel more than 14 days before 1st day for a 50% refund; 14 days or less: No refund. Covid-19: if you are self-isolating due to infection or evidenced close contact with an infected person, please contact us for alternative cancellation arrangements.
