Our intro to rock course, aimed at people who wish to try climbing for the first time or to brush up on some skills that they already have but feel a little rusty. The principal theme of the day is to get people feeling confident on the rock and starting to use the equipment in context i.e. on the climbs.

Day 1
On the intro course, we have a look at the fundamentals of how to tie in and belay, how to move efficiently on the rock and what equipment we use to keep ourselves safe. The emphasis is on building solid foundations.
Day 2
Today we build upon what we looked at on day one, looking at how to protect ourselves with our ropes and hardware, also begin to understand when and how we use our equipment.
