Day 1
On arrival at Polkerris, you'll be kitted up, given a briefing and introduced to the boats. The day will begin on land, getting to know the boats, learning basic steering and capsizing drills, as well as how to set the boats up, before getting on the water to hone your skills. There will be a lunch break (you are welcome to bring your own food or buy something from our cafe) and you will cover some theory. Then it's back on the water (weather dependant of course!) to continue practising your new skills. Day 2
You'll get kitted up and straight down to the boats to recap what was learned on day one. After a quick recap, including rigging up the boats correctly, it'll be back on the water to recap skills and keep developing your steering, turning, and sailing across the wind. There might be some capsizing and some harder challenges too, as well as some games before and after lunch! Weather depending, you'll spend as much time as possible sailing in order to build your confidence and sailing ability.
