Things to do on a rainy day in Symonds Yat

Whilst Symonds Yat is best known for outdoor activities, that's not to say there’s nothing to do on a rainy day. First off, if it’s rainy, what better time to get out on the water (you’d probably get wet anyway). Best to make the most of your time visiting and getting onto the River Wye (assume the conditions are safe are a great way to do so!). Likewise, for many, there’s something refreshing about walking through the Forest in the rain. It’ll be quieter and you’ll see and hear different animals, what better way to explore the trails of the Forest of Dean. If you’re completely against getting a little wet, there is a local cinema, pubs, restaurants and shops to explore! Or better yet, get planning for your next days adventure for when the weather picks up.
