Better By Sail - learn to sail on the Norfolk Broads

Spend a full day learning to sail on one of our beautiful sailing yachts, experience the wonder of the glorious Norfolk Broads National Park as you let the wind fill your sails and head off down the river, under the safe supervision of one of our RYA Instructors. This is a 'hands on' experience, or if you prefer you can sit back, relax and let our crew do the work! Enjoy the sound of water lapping on the hull, take in the beautiful Broadland scenery all around you, the wildlife, birds, reeds, marshes and wind pumps and the peace and quiet of this stunning landscape. Take the helm and the mainsheet to enjoy the thrill of speeding through the water and handling your own piece of Broadland yachting history. Drinks included, bring your own picnic lunch to eat onboard!

Itinerary

After your welcome and safety briefing we will provide you with a short introduction to your yacht. You will then set sail from Upton Dyke and head north onto the River Bure sailing past Thurne mouth, St Benet's Abbey and heading towards Ranworth for a picnic lunch before returning back to Upton in the afternoon.
