To make the most of the tranquility and natural surroundings of the valley, we are offering visitors some exciting new bookable experiences here at Dittiscombe.
Custodian of Dittiscombe Estate, Ruth Saunders, will take you on a guided walk around the valley to see how the landscape at Dittiscombe has changed over the last 25 years, and how the wildlife has benefitted from a hands-off approach.
The land was farmed at one time but was gifted back to nature by Ruth & Jon in 1998. It now supports a mosaic of habitats for wildlife. The valley has evolved into a new-look landscape through natural processes, and you’ll be able to see that a hands-off approach and being a bit messy is good for wildlife!

Cancellations

Custom Policy

Our nature themed events will go ahead unless the good old British weather beats us! If we have cancel a full refund will be given.

We offer only a limited number of places on each session, and if the numbers drop below a certain point we will unfortunately have to cancel the whole event. We would politely request that once you have booked you endeavour to attend the session.

However if you are unable to come due to unavoidable circumstances we ask that you give us 14 days notice for a full refund so that we have the opportunity to find a replacement for your booking and ensure that the event can go ahead.
