Red Brook offers a relaxed and enjoyable introduction to scrambling.
This Grade 1 route follows the line of a gully, interspaced with platforms after each rocky move upwards.
The route has the bonus of being one of the longest scrambles in the Peak District and

We meet in the historic village of Hayfield. Along the way we explore local landmarks, nature and mythology.
At the top of Red Brook our adventure is not over. As we descend there are more scenic delights and photo opportunities.

At times, the terrain is rocky and may also be boggy.
