 Feel the love these gentle giants have got to offer on our wonderful Shire Horse Experience Day this Summer! 🌸🦌🌼💚🐣

 Join us for our daily routine from feeding, grooming, washing and preparing our Working Shire horses for harness. Learn all about the harness and how it goes onto the horses before learning some of the commands and controls. You will then put this into practice whilst long reining the horses around some obstacles - under our supervision before heading off into the woods where you can experience the pure joy of long reigning a Shire horse through a Dartmoor woodland. Your experience will finish with our Shire Horse & carriage ride along the beautifully scenic Dartmoor lanes here in North Bovey 🐴🐴

This really is a once in a life time opportunity to form a special bond with these incredible Shire horses and enjoy the unique close relationships they build with their handlers and landscape which they enjoy working in so much. A great experience for mind, body and soul involving lots of cuddles and heartfelt memories of working heavy horses on Dartmoor.

 This experience is approximately 3 hours & is £145 per person.
