Rock Climbing on Dartmoor, 1 Day Adventure

A days climbing on real rock on some of the best climbing in the country - in the beautiful Dartmoor National Park! Having been climbing in and around Dartmoor with groups and personally for over 20 years, the location can be selected depending on your wishes. We can find the best routes to suit and / or we can find some of the most picturesque, quiet and accessible crags for your adventure. A great adventure for those wanting to get outdoors, try something new, develop climbing skills (both climbing and abseiling), experience parts of Dartmoor you might never have seen and get some amazing photos! This adventure is perfect for all fit, healthy and mobile. Whether you're an individual or small group each day is bespoke and build to cater for your group / family specifically.

Itinerary

We'll meet in the morning, introduce ourselves and discuss the best location for the day (if not already discussed before the adventure dates) We'll run you through the equipment to be used and make sure everyone is comfortable with the techniques, including how to tie knots, belay partners and techniques for climbing. We'll show you how to choose the best route for yourself, what to look for, how to read a guide book, what equipment to pack, how to check your equipment and partner. At the end of the day you'll feel like you've learnt something, be more confident in your climbing, equipment selection, feel challenged physically and mentally and had lots of fun with some great pictures (pictures of the day can be supplied).
