Join us for some group fun in the warm waves of North Devon this October, staying in some luxurious surf lodges just a stone’s throw from the beach. Beginner-friendly.
Autumn is the best time for surfing in England. The water is at its warmest after the summer sun, the waves are picking up, and the crowds have mostly departed.
This October we’ll be heading to Croyde, which the Stormrider guide describes as ‘probably the best beach break in the UK. Not only does it have a fantastic surf beach, it is also full of quaint cottages, traditional English pubs, and charming cafes.
We will be staying in our own surf lodges on the beach, a short walk across the dunes to the waves and a stone’s throw from the centre of the village.

Day 1

Your host will welcome you at the surf lodges from 6 pm.

Day 2

After breakfast, we’ll pick up surfboards and wetsuits from the on-site surf shop, before heading to the beach. After lunch, you can decide whether to go surfing again, go hiking along the coast path, or head to one of the cozy pubs. We will reconvene back at the lodges for a hearty home-cooked dinner before we head out for some drinks to celebrate our surfing successes.

Day 3

We will head down to the beach for another glorious morning of surfing before a pub lunch.
