Highlights

Classic West Coast Ridges, that's what we aim to provide with this Winter Mountaineering package is for people who would like to be guided up and along some classic ridges on the West Coast. If conditions allow we could tackle the classics such as Dorsel Arete, the infamous Aonach Eagach and Tower Ridge but to name a few! A truly unforgettable experience!
Any technical equipment, crampons, ice axe, harness & helmet is included

Effectively planning your days in the mountains, using weather and avalanche forecasts

Recap of core winter skills, such as using the ice axe and crampons for approaching climbs

Route finding; interpreting the guide book and while on the route

Coaching to develop movement over 'scrambling' type terrain

Avalanche awareness/avoidance and its implications for safe route choice

Day 1

Glen Coe
Day one will be focused around movement skills en route to our first route, possibly Dorsel Arete

Day 2

Glen Coe
For the next few days we can use Glen Coe, The infamous Aonach Eagach would be a great day and a big tick for most people.

Day 3

Glen Coe
Today we could stay in Glen Coe and head up Great Gully.

Day 4

Ben Nevis
If things are going well and we have good conditions we can head up Tower Ridge.

Day 5

Ben Nevis
Today we can finish on Castle Ridge on The Ben which would top off a pretty epic week if the weather plays ball!

  • Cancel within 30 days of the adventure with no refund.
