Highlights
Our Caving in the Peak District taster experience is aimed at people who are keen to try caving for the first time. Equally, it suits those that would like an easier introduction to this amazing activity.
First, we meet and greet you and then explain what the day will involve. Sometimes this is an extended caving trip in one cave system. Other times we can split the day and visit two different caves. Our caving instructors will look after your safety as well as teach you about the cave development and fantastic formations that you will see along the way. Most of the caving on the taster experience is of a horizontal nature.
We do tend to bring ropes and ladders with us so that if you do feel more adventurous then we have the option to increase the level of challenge on this course. However this is all covered in our intermediate level caving course as well.
This course will give you a good insight into caving and the underground world beneath your feet. Progression from this is onto our intermediate course or SRT caving courses.
This is a great activity and opportunity to try this in the safest way possible by using a well established company that has been operating in the Peak District for 11 years. Please note we have done all we can to ensure we abide by the governments Covid-19 health and safety guidelines, but let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
