Highlights
Our Peak District Caving intermediate course is aimed at people who may have caved before or who have a good level of fitness and want a more challenging experience. This course will involve some vertical aspects and require you to abseil and climb within the cave system.
First, we meet you and explain what the day will involve. This will usually be an extended caving trip in one cave system. As we explore the cave we can look at the formations and how caves developed over the millennia. You can expect to get wet so come prepared although we aim to stay as dry as possible for as long as possible! Our caving instructors will look after your safety and will give you the option to do some of the challenges on offer.
We bring ropes and ladders with us for the more challenging and exciting bits. You will also need to bring some food and drinks with you so we can have our lunch deep beneath the Peak District.
This course will give you a good insight into caving and the underground world beneath your feet. Progression from this is onto our SRT caving courses.
This is a great activity and opportunity to try this in the safest way possible by using a well established company that has been operating in the Peak District for 15 years.
