Join our learn to lead climb course, based around Aviemore, Cairngorms. Being on 'the sharp end' is a serious step in any climbers career and comes with higher risk, but with risk comes also with high rewards, let us show you the ropes by building a solid base of fundamental skills, techniques and strategies to help you get the most out of your course. Our instructors teach progressively to let you build your confidence and skill level at a pace to suit you.
How to safely and effectively belay leader & second

Retreating from climbs demonstrating the use of a variety of anchors

Coaching on technique and movement
Day 1
Day one will be an opportunity to get out and get on the rock and see where we're at, build on what we need to implement to our climbing whether it be movement coaching, rope work or stance management.
Day 2
Day two will be building upon what we have learned on day one and apply a progressive approach to getting our skills into the long term memory. The nuts and bolts of this day will be decided by what we get up to on day one.
