About Explora Expeditions

I was drawn to the outdoors, specially sea kayaking, a few years back. My first adventure was with a guide, a satellite phone, food for 5 days and a double kayak in deepest Patagonia. At that point, my life changed and I discovered a new order of my priorities, a new way of seeing the world and a thirst for wilderness and adventure. Since then, I have been training in my personal skills for kayaking as well as obtaining coaching awards. I also set up my own company and today we run kayaking expeditions to western Greenland to enjoy the bergs, whales and midnight sun; we have many trips and open doors in a beautiful Greek island and run escorted adventure trips to Chile. We also provide training in the UK to undertake real, big adventures. Wherever we work, we make sure we deliver economical, social and environmental benefits to the communities we work with. My personal aim, is to help people enjoy the outdoors, discover the sea and the natural world, and develop a passion for it.
