About Yoga Aura

Yoga Aura was set up by Kate Kearns, Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals UK, a E-200 RYT Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance US, a qualified Yin Yoga Therapy and MBSR Restorative Yoga Therapy, Post-Natal Pregnancy Yoga and Menopause Yoga qualified teacher. Yoga Retreats are great way to immerse yourself in yoga and delve deeper into what yoga has to offer away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. In its simplest form ‘Retreat’, means ‘to withdraw, to drawback, a time consciously set aside for a change of focus, a deliberate act of stepping outside of normal routine by withdrawing (not running away) from the noise and pressures; the immediate and insistent claims of our social, domestic, and workday responsibilities in order to be in a quiet place. By setting aside a specific period of time for retreat, it allows us to temporarily disconnect from our daily lives and gives us the opportunity to reflect on our lives, to gain clarity on our thoughts and to do some inner work that can often be difficult to do in the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives. The perfect opportunity to have some time for mindful self-reflection and self-enquiry and mindfulness practices. Yoga is for everyone, it promotes well-being, health, relief from stress and anxiety, a way to connect with yourself, inner peace, peace with others and pure relaxation for everyone.
