Booking Policy
By making a booking with Rewilding Adventure you are entering a contract; in doing so you guarantee that you have the authority to do so and that you accept these booking conditions. If making a booking on behalf of a group, you agree you have their authority,or where they are under 18 years old, their parents/guardian authority. The Booking Conditions Liability • Although Rewilding Adventure have a good record of safety, as well as having a Health & Safety policy and risk assessments; the activites provided have an element of risk by their very nature. By making this booking you accept this risk • Rewilding Adventure take no liability for lost or damaged property; outdoor learning takes place in wild and remote settings, and the activities undertaken can result in routine wear and tear to personal property and clothing occurring • By making this booking you take responsibility for your actions, if making the booking on behalf of a group you also take responsibility for their actions • Any losses of Rewilding Adventure’s property, or wilful damage to it, will be charged to the person making the booking (or their organisation) Health & Safety • Outdoor activities require a level of fitness and will entail exertion; if you have medical concerns you agree to consult a doctor prior to attending; if relevant you will advise Rewilding Adventure • Rewilding Adventure will only consider a booking as made when all ‘Participant Information Forms’ have been returned (and signed by a parent/guardian if under 18years) or an agreement to produce them on the day is made • If a ‘Participant Information Form’ is not returned that participant cannot take part but will still be liable for the fee • Participants’ behaviour must not prejudice health & safety, if it does Rewilding Adventure reserve the right to remove them from the activity; they will still be liable for the fee • All activities will be conducted in accordance with National Governing Body and professional qualification guidance and good practice; relevant qualifications are available upon request • Participants (and parents/guardians for those aged under 18 years) should be cognisant with the inherent risk of outdoor activities; in many cases the engaging in such activities will done in order to develop participants’ awareness and management of risk- particularly during Forest School and bushcraft activities • The consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden during all activities which are ran be Rewilding Adventure; likewise, if instructors have concerns that a participant is under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances then they will be removed from activities, or the activities may be suspended • Rewilding Adventure are committed to an ethos of risk aware rather than risk averse; in many cases a risk/benefit analysis will be conducted for the activities undertaken Insurance • Rewilding Adventure have liability cover to a values of £5m; this does not include personal accident, travel or cancellation cover Cancellations and modifications • Rewilding Adventure reserve the right to modify or cancel booking due to safety concerns or facts which lie beyond our control (a Force Majeure) • Adverse and foul weather contingencies will be considered according to the activities booked; where possible this will be done in consultation with the booking party. Rewilding Adventure will not jeopodize safety due to the weather conditions • Booking cancellations will be payable by the booking party with specified timescale prior to the activity, the timescales are:

o More than one month- no fee o Under one month- 25% o Within 2 weeks- 50% o Within 1 week- 75% • Any liability for cancellation fees incurred through the booking of third party venues/accommodation will be transferred to the party making the booking • If cancelled by Rewilding Adventure prior to activity taking place, Rewilding Adventure will either rearrange for an alternative mutually convenient date or provide a full refund; in these circumstances you have the choice
COVID Cancellations: Should an event be postponed due to COVID restrictions, then Rewilding will set another date for your event, or provide you places on another session at a convenient time. Should you be unable to attend due to being required to self-isolate, or due to having the virus, again, we will work with you to arrange another date.
