Itinerary

A version of the very popular Goring Riverside Return which is designed for families - a walk children can enjoy with their parents or other family members. (Children are classed as under 16 - over 16's are classed as adult and able to join any walk that can be found on my page).
This is a 1.5 to 2 mile, relatively easy, flat circuit and at a pace that should be no issue for children of different ages. Most of the route is not all paved - good quality pram / pushchairs could be possible BUT may need lifting over two kissing gates depending on the size, and should be able to be pushed on a non paved path - so I will leave this to your discretion
During this walk we will hope to see and hear an array of Birdlife from Warblers to Raptors, Goldcrest to Kingfishers - and we will help you and your children spot as many as we can along the way. A Bird Spotting list with pictures of those we can hear and see is provided for them to tick off and take home afterwards. Also provided is a packet of Duck food for each child to feed the locals. I'll also let you know where to spot different birds and wildlife when out on quieter walks so you can come back with your children for your own bird spotting adventure.
