This swan along is a gentle canoe paddle along the beautiful and historic Cromford Canal nr Matlock escorted by an instructor. Instruction is given at the start via a meet and greet, followed by kitting up with buoyancy aids. A full briefing on land of how to get control of the canoe, respecting the wildlife and other users in-particular the canal boat. 
Then its off down the canal for our journey keeping as a group. 
Canoes tipping over does happen if your not careful - so don't wonder too far from the instructor!

Approximately 1.5hrs  Suitable for family and friends. All under 18s need to be with a parent -lower age limit 5yrs. 
Lots of wildlife to spot along the way. A third seat in the canoe is suitable for children 10yr old and below. Dogs under control are welcome at your own risk -(not disturbing the wildlife).
