This session is for all levels. Tuition is on hand from timekeeper and artist Chris Shaw with a focus on form (breaking appearances down to component parts and underlying geometry); values (looking at the shifts from darks to lights) and, thirdly, application (mindfulness about the various ways charcoal, for instance, can be used and the results that can follow by e.g. pressing heavily, or lightly; using the nib or the side part; working swiftly or with more care).

Cost £20 and includes free charcoal and paper. Please bring any other materials you might want to use.
Includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments.
