As public awareness of the benefits of animal-assisted interventions increases and more providers are looking to set up programmes, there is an ever growing need to ensure a consistent, responsible and safe approach to these interventions. 
Victoria is a Senior Camelidynamics Consultant, a qualified counsellor and has worked as a paramedic and in-service counsellor for over 30 years. She has combined her knowledge and drawn on her experience in both areas of working with people and animals to create the course that she wanted when she first considered entering the "therapeutic " realm. 
You will leave with knowledge of the history of animal interventions, of the practical application of Camelidynamics handling skills and alpaca communication, practical, legal and ethical considerations in programme planning and ideas about how to incorporate working along side alpacas into the therapeutic setting.
The course is delivered in a mix of theory, animal practical and experiential exercises.
