  • Flora and fauna of the Lake District

Day 1

Leaving our vehicles we shall start our journey into the mountains. During the first day will aim to achieve around four summits including Great Knott, Crinkle Crags, Bow Fell and Esk Pike, all worthy of a celebration and photo opportunity. With tired legs and ready for dinner we will arrive at our stunning camp location of Angle Tarn. Here we will resupply with water, cook and surrounded by an epic mountain backdrop fully immerse ourselves into our environment.
Total distance: approx 15km

Day 2
Opening that tent zip early in the morning and being greeted by the mountains is one of life's great treats. After sourcing our water, cooking breakfast and breaking camp our first ascent will lead us to the summit of Rossett Pike. From here we will focus our efforts on bagging the rocky summits of the Langdale Pikes. It's all down hill from here!
Total distance: approx 10km

Returning back to our cars, toilets, and of course the pub, we can relax and reflect on our epic Lakeland mountaineering adventure.

The experience requires a good level of fitness, however, it is suitable for beginner hill walkers. You should be happy to walk over rough terrain carrying all essential equipment.

We recommend that your rucksack has a capacity of around 65L to comfortably accommodate all your personal kit and a proportion of group equipment and your camping tent (tent will be provided by Green Man Survival).

Green Man Survival will provide your tent, stove, map & compass, emergency equipment and water purification for the duration of your adventure. Tents provided will be two-person mountain tents shared between two people.

We will also provide you with your dinner on day 1 and breakfast on day 2, these will be high quality "backpacking" meals from a reputable supplier. Vegan and vegetarian options are available.

You will need to bring packed lunch for both days. We suggest items that will carry well such as wraps, cheese, cured meats etc.

All our experiences are offered on a private booking basis for you and your group, and you have complete flexibility to choose your own date for your experience. The minimum requirement is two adult tickets when booking this private activity.

Please see the multi-day kit list for necessary equipment.
