7.45pm - 10.15pm

The evening starts with a welcome cuppa in North York Moors National Park's stargazing hub at Sutton Bank. 
Afterwards we'll weave our way around the woodland at twilight. You'll pause along the way to listen to the spectacular evening chorus as diurnal bird species head to bed. Watch bats come out of their daytime slumber. 
You may even find yourself snuggled under a blanket, lying or sitting down (forest bathing) sensing the forest in the twilight-cum-dark night, while you pick out stars above. Quietly scary? Yes. But at the same time, exhilarating and a strangely good mood-booster! 
This is because your primary sense - sight - takes a back seat while all your other senses become alive. Weave in a mindful activity along the way, and your ability to feel awe increases. An emotion now considered more important than happiness. 
But that's not all. You'll spend time at the Stargazing Hub at Sutton Bank where I'll take you on a journey of the night sky. You'll learn about deep time, information about planets, constellations and our place within this amazing universe. 
One thing is for sure, you'll leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after this experience.  

Further information - PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING Although the walk is only (around) 1-2 miles long and mainly on footpaths, there are sections of mud and very rough ground in places. You will need to be able to get up and down from the ground with ease. For your comfort, a good level of fitness will be needed for this activity.
