Join Heritage Volunteer Chris Hall and guest leader Dr Jane Grenville to look at some of the architecture listed in the new edition of the North Riding volume of the Buildings of England in and around Goathland. Hear about how the coming of the railway affected the development of the village and learn of the work of one of Yorkshire’s most important Arts & Crafts architects and the buildings designed by the redoubtable, self-taught Annabel Dott. The route involves a descent to and ascent from Darnholm Ford.
