Exclusively for family, and friends, or as a team-building day out for you and colleagues! Stand up Paddleboarding is a fantastic group activity whether you want to learn to SUP or simply arrange a fun day out on the water.
The session can be tailored to suit your needs and goals whether you'd like an introduction lesson, team building or just a fun couple of hours on the water!
What does an introduction or begginer session entail? You'll be equipped with all the essential SUP skills, including:
1) Introduce you to the board, paddle, and other safety kits
2) Moving the board forward and turning effectively
3) Self-rescue skills. One of the most important skills in paddleboarding where you will learn what to do and how to get back on the board. Learning this skill will not only increase your confidence but ensure your safety whilst venturing on your own adventures or with a small group of friends or family.
4) Dynamic risk assessment - why do we do it?
5) Weather and environmental considerations Our session starts on land where we get familiarised with the kit and cover some theory. At the end of the session, you will leave with the skills and confidence how to paddle safely!
