Pookles Farm is based in the South downs national park and is home to the unique SSI hangers protected by National England. Rich in history and wildlife you will spend the morning exploring the woods and apple orchard or a circular route crossing an old roman road and overlooking King Johns Hill. The farm is home to a variety of birds of prey, protected species of animals and plants. Once the walk is over its time to meet the resident flock of ducks and have a hands on experience with them. To finish the day a locally sourced picnic of free range duck egg sandwiches or cheese and homemade tomato chutney. Followed by plenty of tea and freshly made cake.
Your guide for the day is owner Erika Dixon and creator of Pookles Farm Edible Flowers.
